Residential Solar Energy System Configuration
The system
configuration depicts the 40 gallon water storage tank with the collector(s) that
circulate the water to to the existing water heater by
city water pressure replacing water usage to the system.
This system requires no moving parts and no external utility cost
to maintain the system, outside of the computerized
thermostat to monitor the automated system.
This system can
also be installed with the water storage tank or tanks
located near the existing water heater. The existing
circulating hot water pumps are incorporated into the system
to circulate the solar heated water maintained in the water
storage tank. In this design there is no additional
mechanical devices needed. The thermal solar collectors and
tanks become part of the hot water circulation heating
system.
This system can
also be incorporated to heat the in-ground pool and extend
the swimming season when heating the home is not necessary.
In fact these systems generate such a degree of hot water
they can be incorporated and maintain an out door hot tub
year round. |
